New connections through movement

We brought the exhibition Hear Here to life for new citizens, young mothers, and lonely youth through a series of dance workshops. In collaboration with Introdans, participants explored our artworks using their own bodies and voices, fostering new connections with the art and each other.
As part of our Hear Here exhibition at the Eusebiuskerk, we organized unique dance workshops. These sessions offered a new way to engage with the three artworks, encouraging participants to interact through movement and sound. By using their bodies and voices, individuals who might not typically encounter art in this way formed deeper connections with the installations.
The workshops, a collaboration with Introdans, created an inviting space for new Dutch citizens, young mothers, and lonely youth. This initiative allowed participants to connect with art and each other in a refreshing and interactive manner. Our aim is to create impact through wonder, and these workshops truly embodied that mission.
We believe in the power of wonder to inspire and connect people. These workshops provided a unique opportunity for participants to explore the themes of Hear Here – connection and wonder – through a highly personal and expressive medium. It was inspiring to see how movement and sound facilitated new understandings and fostered a sense of community among the participants.
