Innovationlabs #2 opened at Dutch Design Week

The Klokgebouw in Eindhoven, the heart of Dutch Design Week 2024, will host Innovationlabs #2: The Growing Archive from Oct. 19 to 27. The exhibition shows the harvest of the second edition of Innovationlabs. Stop by and take advantage of all the innovative ideas for the cultural and creative sector that have been researched, tested and improved.

The exhibition Innovationlabs #2: The Growing Archive introduces you to seventeen diverse projects supported by the Innovationlabs program: from an advanced archiving system for cultural institutions to a prediction model for theater makers, programmers and marketers to make considered choices in programming and marketing.

Special attention is given to the findings of researchers from various knowledge institutions who followed and supported the seventeen initiatives through the innovation process. Their insights are summarized in five roadmaps, which you can use to navigate through the exhibition.

Want to contribute to the growing archive of insights and applicable knowledge for the future cultural and creative sector yourself? Then visit the Open Lab in the exhibition. Here you can interact with creators, test innovations or help initiatives validate their ideas. Test a smart trash can that separates waste by itself, learn about new technologies like augmented or virtual reality or contribute to scientific research on the effects of live music on our well-being.
