Opening Hear Here

Arnhem, NL - Fillip Studios, an art and design studio known for creating impactful and interactive experiences, and the historic Eusebius Church in Arnhem jointly announce the opening of their newest exhibition, Hear Here. This exhibition, which runs from 7 March to 31 August, 2025, features three new artworks created during a two-year Artist in Residence program by Fillip Studios at the church.

With a team of art and design professionals, Fillip Studios creates interactive installations, exhibitions, artworks and experiences that captivate audiences worldwide. From concept to realization, they use cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with partners in science, culture and business. Their projects have been featured from New York to Tokyo, and their base remains in Arnhem, the Netherlands.

Hear Here invites visitors to engage with sound, space and each other in unique and unexpected ways. The exhibition features three interactive installations: Echo, where voices transform into organ-like sounds within towering columns; Resonance, where baths of water respond to presence with subtle vibrations and reflections; and Linea Franca, a touch-sensitive line that creates melodies and encourages collaboration.

These works, inspired by the themes of sharing, counter-sound and connection, were conceived during Fillip Studios' residency at the Eusebius Church. The team's mission to evoke wonder and explore the unknown is evident in each work. "Hear Here" challenges visitors to step outside their comfort zone and discover the extraordinary within a shared experience.

"We are delighted to host ‘Hear Here’ at the Eusebius Church," said Meike Verhagen, director of the Eusebius Church. "This exhibition marks an important step in our ambition to enhance the museum experience within our historic walls."
For the founders of Fillip Studios, Roos Meerman and Tom Kortbeek, this exhibition has special meaning. "It is an honor to open our first solo exhibition in Arnhem," they share. "Having shown our works internationally on several continents, it feels incredibly nice to bring this experience to our own city."
